Description

This is a small pool of water just off of the Tar River. Quite a lovely place for a picnic. Hope that you enjoy it as much as I. Thanks to everyone for the comments made on the post yesterday - 'Autumn Swamp.' It was very kind of each of you and very appreciated. HUGS!!!

At the far edge of the pond (thru the trees) you can see the edge of the clouds overhead, and because of the overhang of the clouds it makes the sky look white when in actuality the sky overhead was as blue as the pond, which you can almost see at the edge of the clouds. Wonderful sunny day for all!!!!

Oooooh...fantabulous capture of the mirrorlike reflections in the water! The river does look like its name implies...Tar, because it looks so black. You are fortunate to have such impressive arboreal scenes of nature in your neighborhood.
