Description
Here's an earlier scene in which I wanted to convey a sense of disorientation, the kind you get when you wake up from a vivid dream, or terrifying nightmare. First a close-up of the girl's face, followed by a wider shot in which she sees her friend. I used only backlighting on him as I wanted his face to be partly in shadow to heighten the mood of anxiety and paranoia that you get in psychodramas of this nature. Though unintentional, I thought the shadows on the wall in the same panel also provide a nice effect, accentuating the character's alarm at her surroundings.
WHAT IS CASS CORRIDOR?
It's an ongoing webcomic about the Twilight Lady, an immortal being who traverses astral realms, sometimes taking ordinary folks on these journeys. Thing is, she doesn't always bring them back!
