Description

This is my second Vue serious Vue image. It was really a lesson in object import and texturing. I learned a lot and finally found where the list of object pieces are so I could select and texture them separately. Now to learn how to use that material lab. Vue is very cool but there are a few things in Bryce that are much easier to do. The one thing I miss the most is 'panning'. In Bryce I can use the little 'hand' and pull the screen around. They each have their pros and cons but in the end they are extremely similar. This image needed more 'stuff' lying around...maybe a lazing dog but I just had to stop so I could start playing with Bryce6. Wow, does this run faster and cleaner or what??? :) Baument cart Cornicopia Tavern Mil horses Free hitching post from Content Paradise Naked lady with large breats inside the tavern...you just missed her Bernado :)

Another good one Nancy. I agree with you though. It needs more stuff lying around. An old rickity out of the way tavern like that should have years of accumulated stuff lying around. LOLOLOL Love the textures and the scene though. The lighting is perfect too. smile

You are doing so great with Vue! I really love the 'authentic' feel here. Now you've got me singing, "Dusty trails, to you, until we meet again..." =o]

Blast it! I'm always late. Could you remove the tavern, please? I want to check what you said. 8-) Fantastic composition. The vegetation, the smoke coming from the chimney and the textures on the taver are very good. Some characters or animals are missed to complete the scene but the landscape is excellent.

You've done a great job with your landscaping set up here! A really wonderful scene!!! I prefer Vue's material tweaking abilites and lighting when compared with Bryce, but there were some handy little tricks I miss sometimes! Will be interesting to see how the new versions compare :) Naked woman in the tavern huh? See you in there LOL

Very impressive. I love all the extra detail. The sky, the horses and the trees. Not to mention the old house itself. Inspite of its some what run down look it seems like a happy place.

Great work! As for Vue being similar to Bryce, just wait till you get to know Vue more, and I'm sure you'll change your mind, if only for the Vue ligting models.
