Friends protecting each other against all odds.
My husband and I are both disabled and have had to face many challenges. For 20 years we have had each others' backs though.
This is for him.

I've just been spending some time in your gallery and a very wonderful time I had too. You do beautiful work, and it was quite hard to decide which to comment on tonight. I love this image. The lighting is superb and perfect for the mood. I see her sitting in the darkness lost in not very pleasant thoughts. The only contact she feels with the outer world is her hand on the warm side of her friend. Though her thoughts are miles away, the comfort she feels in that touch supports her. Her friend waits patiently, feeling her need for support and supplying it. Beautiful image and dedication! Wonderful atmosphere, light, poses and expressions. The connection and support between the two is tangible.
