This is really spectacular Mark! I especially like the bird droppings on the mountains! This looks very much like a place here in Baja, except the bird dodo of course. We don't have birds that big! I'd like to get set up with a new machine. Bob says Intel will have a quad core early next year! I have been busy tweeking my website and no time for rendering.

WOW! That is one cool image, Mark! I find it invaluable to have my lap-top to do more mundane things on whilst my pooter is occupied in a heavy render.. It should, with its spec, be capable of plenty of multitasking, but I guess some programs just use up all it can offer, and I do not like that blue screen of death! lol! At the moment it's part way through a scheduled 8 hour UF render at A3 size 300ppi. Odd thing is another UF of same proportions might only take half an hour, so it obviously depends on the formula being used, and not necessarily even on the number of layers, masking etc. involved!
