Hi All,
I have dabbled in computer graphics for many years, renewing my interest when I discovered the community on Renderosity, many years ago now. Thanks for all the friends, support, comments and just views! I hope that you like what you see, and don't mind my endless experimenting and daft sense of humour!I have become something of a champion for Carrara and believe it to be one of the most comprehensive and best value 3D packages available. I became known for my extensive use of Carrara's dynamic hair and 2010 has seen the release of a number of commercial Carrara hair products. I have also recorded a whole series of video tutorials for Infinite Skills Inc available over at Daz and also here:http://www.infiniteskills.com/training/learning-carrara-7.htmlOne of my other passions is music and I used to be keyboard player with progressive rock band Manning (2008-2009). I was delighted to make my recording debut on "Number Ten" released early 2009 - I also had a big hand in designing the CD cover and booklet! I am now writing and recording some demos of my own music. Thanks for looking - have a great day! Phil

P.S. Put together in Poser but then rendered in Vue to get the volumetric light effect in the box. Tried a few different times with different settings, the final image takes elements from a couple of them and then combined and postworked in PShop. I am not a purist - to me it is the final image that matters, the rest are just tools to help achieve that!

It has the feel of the ancient Greek myths nonetheless. And the dual view is a good idea for this story. Having said that, I've always felt that these "Curiosity Killed The Cat" tails were just propoganda to keep the people in line.

Good (cultural) idea and splendid rendering, bravo! I agree with you: only final image matters!

I agree with you my friend: the result is important, not how you got it!!! And here you have an excellent pic!!!!

Fun experiment, and nice work with the dramatic lighting! The clothes look pretty good in the lower image, except for the thighs. You might be able to airbrush some white over part of the edge between the fabric and leg to hide the transition. Of course you know I love postwork :)

Excellent work and nice light effects! :)

Doesn't look like evils coming out of the box but that's exactly what happened to Pandora I guess... Excellent render!

Well done! Very good illustration of the mythology. Would be interesting to see the evil which comes out.
