Beautiful. Love how the white colour of the pelican contrasts the blue of the water.

It's great having the main character pose sideways like that. What caught my eye was the drop on the tip of it's beak, a very special feature. Good luck getting organized, I tried it several times.

A very beautiful exceptional photograph of pelican. The quality of the light shaves so well the wings of the bird, which one could patiently count his feathers. Kimarie, explain to your children that a blow of hand of the ' modes' too would not be while following your instructions of course. Very beautiful bird sample. I will await the continuation. SPLENDID (5/5)

Beautiful Kimmie, the color of the water seems almost unreal, love that color. and your pelican is great. I have only see pelicans in zoo, never out in freedom.

Au contraire! Lots of fowl play here, Kims! Beautiful side-light and shadow effect on the scene. Also dig the wake of the old coot, paddling off somewhere. Incidentally, did you see photo of the pelican swallowing a pigeon whole in some zoo? The pigeon fought frantically for twenty minutes trying to get free, but to no avail. Euuuuuuuuuuuu!
