Description

The last of the five images of "Radiant Dawn" that I am posting on Renderosity. You can see all 15 images of this vessel on my website: www.dcmstarships.com. The design for the arcology is based on Paulo Soleri's arcology design Babel IIB depicted in his book "Arcology: City in the Image of Man" published in 1969 by MIT Press. His design was over 1000 meters tall; mine is only about a thrid of that

I think your images are awesome. I am truly suprised you haven't recieved more comments on all of them. You should get and learn Vue5 Infinite and Cinema 4D and put some "life shots" together. I think they would be great. In any case, killer work! Very clean and precise. -chachi Ps- Is it just me or do those dimentions seem really small for this plan? Maybe just me....

270 meters tall is in the range of a 90 story building. Thus, I am pretty sure the building and people are to scale. As far new 3D CGI software is concerned, I am currently learning Rhino 3 and its rendering packages Flamingo 1.1 and Penguin 1. I hope to have some images to show using this software in 6-12 months. I still have a number of TrueSpace projects already about half done that I want to finish off and get posted on Renderosity before transferring full time to Rhino. Perhaps a Rhino version of this arcology will be one of my first Rhino projects . . .

That looks very interesting! I like the lake between the residential terraces and the tower.
