Description

There is a Bald Eagles nest along the Manistee River not too far from where I live. I spent many hours there this past spring and took a lot of pictures. The eagle pair had two new additions this year. It was quite an experience to watch the juveniles develop and learn to fly. Pictured here is the adult female. She is a true huntress. I watched her bring back many a meal for her little ones. (mostly fish and snakes). If you enjoy this shot I'll post more of the family in the future. Woah - that is an amazing and beautifull detailed shot, not to mention that it doesn't feature the run of the Mill Eagle poses - which makes it refreshingly outstanding. So yes - more of it!
