Description

Carrara 4, 2005. I made a mistake on the previous image. This image is Part 1 in the series of Marcel Duchamp's Nude Descending a Staircase, No 2. The first one is part 2. Confusing, isn't it? In the sprite of dada's found object as art, I took MD's art and changed it with the aid of the modern miracle of computers and software in a random way.};> I used his image as the original data source for the terrain modeler and shader sources for the various shader settings. Then rendered with caustics to get unpredictable colors. The previous image was made the same way using this image as the data source. I liked the colors and complex patterns from such a quick and simple set up. The Cramps had a song called Naked Girl Falling Down The Stairs and it occurred to me that it maybe an obscure reference to NDAS No 2.

As I'm now working with any of my students on the Duchamp's Nude series, I'll show them your works on that theme! Nice interpretation!
