Very interesting creation! Nice mood and surfacing. Did you use an overlay for the shore surface?

Thanks for the nice and helpful comments. Actually for the shore surface, I use a technique I think I "invented", :-) just playin around one day, cause I HATE how the water hits the shore in terragen :-) Back in 96 or 97, I got a Plugin filter package called "Eyecandy 3.0" and installed it in Photoshop. Thankfully, It still works with the newer versions of Photoshop. It would also work with PSP. I bring the image into Photoshop, use the "lasso" tool, sorta "scratchey", back and forth, then apply the "smoke" filter from Eyecandy. It took me a bit to get the actual settings for the smoke filter set to where it looked the right "color and mix". Then, to "touch up" any areas and blend, I use the clone and smudge tool. Where you'd get Eyecandy 3.0 nowdays, I wouldn't have a clue. Maby the technique would work with some other Plugin type of "smoke" filter.

Excellent colours and surfacing! Love the atmo. The driftwood could do with a bit of a drop shadow to make it look like it was sitting in the sand, using the dodge and burn tool on the light and dark side of the log would help too. This is lovely - I would like to see more from this TGW!

I love the sunlight stretched through the clouds. And the water has a nice sense of motion to it.
