I'd love to take credit for being a rendering guru in Poser, but the truth is I very rarely use Poser for lighting. I find it too harsh and unrealistic. I use very simple lights in Poser (usually 3) and untick the'Cast Shadows' option. I then do a lot of postwork in Photoshop and Painter. I manually paint the highlights and shadows onto the skin and eyes, also the pores and cracks onto the lips and skin in Painter usually. In Photoshop, I also use diffuse glow and various blending modes to achieve the rights depths, plus the burn tool for extra shadows.
