Description

THE ARAGONESE CASTLE - Island of ISCHIA - South Italy Between the day 8 and 15 of October I was for a vacation to Ischia .. The castle did and assisted to all the story of Ischia. It assisted to the loves of Alfonso of Aragona, with Lucrezia of Alagno; it admired the value of Inico of Avalos that the defence from the ambitions of Carlo VIII, that in vain sent his people to gain it; rejoiced in the year 1488, to the birth of Ferrante of Avalos, that should become the most shining sword of the Italian sixteenth century. Here they have stopped the noblest intelligence of ischia: warriors, you write poetry, well-known governors. By the side of these honored men flowerd a thick brave rank of ladies, picked and kind. CIAO!!Thank you to all for your agreeable visit!!Thanks to all for your precious and very appreciated support! Thanks for your visits to all my photos previous!I hope you will enjoy this my photo!I wish to all a wonderful weekend!!A big kiss and a big hug to all!!

This is so very dreamy. I once read a book "The Castle of Otranto" and I so very badly wanted to see the movie, and yet you've just given me some food for the imagination! The depiction of the castle on the sea was described in the exact way as you have captured this beautiful image. It has a captivating energy to it, the tone, the colours........ just beautiful!
