Photography has pretty much changed my life, in that, I look at every little thing differently now. I get so much pleasure being outdoors and finding new things to photograph. It gives me a tickle inside! I love the birds and flowers and all of nature so much. Sharing these treasures with all of you is very much a pleasure too. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking them! This has been one of the most fun things I ever done... joining this community, it's given me more courage and confidence to explore what I really love to do... A BIG HUGE THANKS to all my friends here!!!!!!

Listening not only with your ears but also with your eyes, your experience and your heart and not asuming what has been said, but asking what could have been ment and trying to see the world through the other ones eyes is a very good way to really understand each other and to trustfully live together... Thanks for your words and for the wonderful photo

Wow, the sharpness, the detail the color - all have a fantastically hyper-real quality. And you're right, true listening is a skill very few people really exercise on a regular basis - because it involves suspending one's own beliefs long enough to try to understand & appeciate the validity of someone else's...

I hear you,Akemi, and I most whole-heartedly agree. So much could be avoided if people would just quiet themselves and listen...Recently my daughter was taking a class where they were learning how to remember people's names in a large group. They were`taught that if they heard a story from each individual that they would remember their names better, and it was true. They did.BUT...they all had trouble remembering the names of the people sitting next to them and that was because as it became closer to their own turn, they stopped listening and started to worry about what they themselves were going to say.I thought that quite 'telling',and your second line here reminded me of that...Anyway,this is an excellent shot.Beautifully detailed to the point of being almost surreal. It's a fabulous capture and your words make this upload even more wonderful.Always a joy to see your work. You always have something to 'say',Akemi, and I love that. All the best to you,sweetie.-M :^)
