Feeling a little Squirrely at the moment, so a shot of Squirrel will do.
Not going to say much here. Started with BW photography many years back (Petri 35mm range-finder). Read a magazine article that said: Shoot! Film is cheap! Took that to heart. With digital photography one can recyle the film ad nauseum.
Interests vary greatly. Generally attracted to large, noisy machinery. Especially older stuff. Very fond of travel shots; particularly new aspects of familiar places and things.
PW is usually done with Corel 9 DCE. Seems to have the power of much more expensive software suites at a fraction of the price.

According to my grandad, his uncle engineered a 4-4-0 in Texas during the "earlies" after the Civil War. This one looks like she could take to the rails again sure enough. Great museum tour, weesel!

Great shot. What a wonderful sight this is, and how interesting. Love the older trains and rails. I miss the click-clack that the trains used to make. Now they come thru this town so fast that they are usually a blurrrr. HUGS!!!

The one I liked were the Shay gear driven locomotive and the early diesel-electric.

I thought I'd been hearing steam whistles from where we live. It's about 2 miles to the museum and I just learned that William Mason and one other engine are fired up once a year to haul folks on museum property.... I gotta get in on that!
