Description

20 some years ago the owner of this hardware store died while at the store. He was removed for obvious reasons and his son locked the door with money still in the cash register and a 1/2 pot of coffee. nothing has been changed since that day. the same dust is there undisturbed. from the window I could see three easy chairs for the owner and local friends to pass the time of day talking. I have other pictures that I shot through the windows. I will post some other time I hope your Sunday is going really well and thanks for your visit and comments

A wonderful old store. We have an Old Town here and I love the stores that have been preserved. This is a fantastically clear and well lighted B/W.

How interesting. It would be nice if you could get a key and take a look around inside. Perhaps it's even HAUNTED!!!! Look forward to seeing more on this.

Great historical story and picture. The B/W presentation makes it feel even older. Bunny

Superb heads-on shot of the old hardware store. I really like that stuff, at least for us old timers.

Splendid shot and spot, Richard. Would love to see the others. Would NOT like to clean and dust this place after all those years. Hugs and kiss for today :-) Di.
