Hello and cheers From Snellville, Ga. When I was in grade school used to love to draw and paint. I took a few art classes along the way. As I got older I expanded into building models and scratch building. Then I put my talents to good use in building terrain and buildings for tabletop games. I also painted and customized figures in 90mm,25 mm and 6 mm..
I would go to gaming conventions, and they would have these wonderful art room's set up. I suppose I got the bug then.
After seeing artists putting images on the web, I of course became fascinated. After talking with a few of these artists I realized that the possibility of myself being able to do some of this work was there. I spoke with Kaposer of Kaposer's 3d World and he showed me the right path.I acquired DAZ studio and Poser 6,7 and then 8. I took an online class for Poser 6 through LVS Online. I've acquired along the way Bryce 6, CS3, Heaxagon 2.2 and Cararra 6 Pro. And eventually would like to create models and textures.
More to follow as time and experience permits......

Well this is an excellent first try...You have scored right into the upper middle group of this community !!! Hard to believe you haven't rendered images before...beside the size it's perfect...(You can fix that if you change the dimensions in the render menu...Best liked in here is around 1000 x ... depends on the ratio...) Further more you best change the dimensions also by what kind of image you want to produce...portrait or landscape...there several possibilities one better then the other according your likings and what kind of image you want to produce... After some practise you could try to add shadows... Anyway...a SUPER GREAT START this is !!! Nice job...well done !!! BTW...Welcome to this community - the people in here are fantastic and will welcome you with open arms...If you need advice you soon find out that your problems will be solved soon...:-)
