UF
I didn't want a solid color for the black space in the center, so I added a little kaleidoscope image to the center in PSP. I suppose that's cheating, but hey????

Well, if you're a purist, then perhaps it's cheating. But I think it's enhancement .. and I think that's allowed, (-: This is a beautiful fractal .. going through the faintes hints of spring green, to the lush summer greens, to the soft browns of autumn, and then the snow flakes! A delight!

Very pretty! You can make the center color transparent and add a layer underneath in UF, too. I did that on http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1282859 for example.
