Description
Some of you requested more shots of the eagle family which lives on a river not far from me. This is the adult male. The male is approximately 2/3 the size of the female. I found it very interesting that each of the members of the family had their favorite perching spot in the tree where their nest was located. As always comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

They are such majestic creatures, every chance I get I sit and watch the clan we have close to our home. They do have a spot they perfer to perch, they all have a different attatude if watched closely. Thank you so much for sharing the perfect picture with us :) Dee

WOW!!! Man! This is awesome!!! The nearest I ever got to one of these was at Pilanesberg, and then he was sitting in a tree right across the one lake. Sure not worth shooting that far away sigh Absolutely marvellous shot of this majectic bird! Thanx for sharing :0))
