thank you all for support
i had some problems with lighting on my previous image
the colours seemed to wash out
also i had too much detail in depth
so i constrained iterations in this one
and worked on new lighting
hope it is better this way
it is hard to work like this
have serious concentration problems
and i lost my ability to produce a mental image
i close my eyes and there is nothing
perfectly black
so now i work starting from 1 object
and build up from there
also i have hundreds of older ideas
always good to write these down
or make a small sketch
they can come in handy later on :-))
I can cope and not depressed
only thing i miss are the animals in the shelter
have not worked in 74 days now
can't ride my car anymore
but there is our art
probably saves our lives when things are rough
hope i haven't bored you with this
but wanted to give an explanation
why my work is sometimes not up tp scratch

Well, I can better separate the wonderful detail, and there is depth here. Great colors and light. Fascinating and just superb, as was the 1st in your series. Dirk, I'm sorry for what you're going through and for how you miss the animals. Not only does your art help save your life, it enriches mine and gives me great pleasure to view. Certainly couldn't tell by this or the previous image that your work is "sometimes not up to scratch." I'm hoping and praying the "rough" things smooth out for you soon.

This is a great piece of art! Dirk, be sure the art helps. I had also a number of situations when just sitting behind the screen and creating pictures preserved my mental integrity and helped me keep control.
