Description

We here at Frogdot Industries had hoped to release our translator in time for the upcoming election. We feel it's important to know what a candidate's ideas and intentions are, but alas, the average politician can speak for forty three consecutive minutes without actually saying anything. Our translator was designed to cut through the rhetoric, spin and excess verbosity and give a quick concise readout of the statement. While we are convinced that the translator works perfectly, the problem seems to be that all input comes out the same. Strip away the false promises, false facts and half truths, the negative statements about the opposition, the listing of exaggerated personal accomplishments and the threat of consequences to our children's children's children should we not vote how we are told to and we are left with no substance at all. In lab tests, hours and hours of political-speak were entered into the translator. Everything from long speeches to soundbites. It all came out the same. Blah, blah blah.

Cool. This is what I usually refer to as an "Um..thing like..". An "Um..thing like.." is what I call stuff "that I don't know what is". So anyway, I really like your "Um..thing like that I don't know what is."

It's a word-wide problem. Nice machine, very nice done. How did you make all that wires?

Ahh, don't let the translator's issues get to you...you're currect when you said that it seems like it's working perfectly! 'Cause it is! I'll just leave it with a quote from our current Commander in Thief, "If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." -Washington, D.C.; Dec 18th, 2002

Well, Dave, if you ever get totally burned out creating wonderful, witty works of art, you have a promising career as a political analyst.
