Description

This is a street gang from my Champion City Crusader campaign. There are average gangs, but the Boosters are special. The desire among some people to have superhuman powers is so great they will go to any extreme to aquire them - even death. There is a synthetic compound that grants some the gifts of superhuman powers and it's called Boost. If you have latent mutant powers, it will kill you. If you're a normal human it can grant you superhuman strength, dexterity, super hard skin, or a number of other abilites all related physically. Even mental powers have been recorded by Boost users. The drug does have its side effects like the skin or hair changing color, and the obvious increase in body mass. The real draw back of using Boost is that it's physically and psychologically addictive. One use and you have to continue using it. It is a one way ticket. Once you have taken the drug, you must have your daily dose, or you will die as your cells start exploding, decaying, or feeding off each other for energy to maintain the excited nature. Also, the increase in power usually creates a sense of meglamania in the uses. There are a few rare cases of people getting off Boost and returning back to a normal life. There are also a few rare cases of people who take the drug and have NO addiction. This is Spike the leader of the Boosters. No he's not the Hulk or Lobo. His skin turned an olive color. Thanks everyone - making The Freak look better is somethings hard. This one too sometime to get all everything to work. I forgot to credit TrekkieGrrl for the Vein bump. A pretty handy little bump map for beefing up your muscled up type characters.
