Is the baby white? But...why is it with birds..that the babies sometimes is even bigger than the mommy? They should be damn happy they only have to hatch an egg though...and not actually give birth to a kicking chicken, lol. Have a wonderful evening Laurence! #:O)

Wonderful!Meico is soo correct,my neighbors have Pescocks and they are vocal! I've never seen a baby Peacock before,so this is an education and a true joy. Love all these wonderful photos in Parc de Bagattella. Thank You

This picture is so beautiful! You've captured the love here. I admire the angle and perspective at which you've taken this image. It's fascinating to see this mother-child interaction between animals.... I must say though, I haven't heard peacocks being "vocal" but they sure look lovely, however annoying (perhaps) they may sound.... I love the clarity and texture of the baby peacock, and the softness and purity of the mommy....

I have never seen a young peacock. a long time ago friend had a peacock for a while and it was bullying the dogs,cats, and chickens.he had to get rid of it. very beautiful capture

Pour moi ,je dirais que cet adolescent qui me semble un peu pale et mal empoint,peut-etre pour abus de substence quelque soit , entre chez-lui tres tot le matin apres une soiree assez turbulante ,faisant face a la musique ! :) Excellent clic ma chere !
