All beginning is hard - but your work here looks very lovely - a little more textures ( mountain in the background and animals ) and your works looks more realistic - I hope i see more and very well done. Regards Umberto

Hi Rebel3D :-) I would agree on the texturing on the mountains as Umberto38 said, this can be a lot more realistic. One other thing you might want to try is to change the atmosphere settings (in the Atmosphere Editor) the light to 'Global Ambience' and change the 'Light Balance' to 100% sunlight. At least that's what i usually do and it works out great most of the time :-) I would not change the way you create your scene because it looks awesome !! Love the composition !! Very good work for a newbie :-)

I write, so no helpful hints here, but it is lovely. I love the reflections and the scene itself is very serene, and comforting. Thanks for sharing. BJ

yup, I am indeed a Vue newbie :) Had it working for about a week now ;p But I've worked for a very very long time in art in general and other 3d programs. Thank you all for your lovely compliments, and those of you who gave me suggestions, I cannot tell you how much I apreciate them. Keep them coming! :)
