G'day y'all !!!! This is a paper daisy from my garden. Its about 3cm in size and is a native of Australia and has a hard (almost plastic like crispy petals) and hences its called a paper daisy. It is very popular as a dried flower. Its usually found in alpine/sub alpine areas of south eastern Australia, but is now sold as a very popular nursery plant. This is for Busi2ness as he showed me a paper daisy from South Africa the other day and it looks very similar. This is the first of a series of macro shots of native flowers from Australia. A paper daisy??? I dont think ive ever seen a more circular flower before. So many tiny petals as well. Fascinating flower Louise. And you composed the shot perfectly. Have a wonderful day. #:O)
