Description

Been collecting assorted freebies, including this delightful ruined church from planit3d.com. I wanted to do something interesting with it, other than use it merely as a picturesque ruin in a landscape, or fill it full of witches & ghosties for Halloween. One thing which sprang to mind was an incident in the life of St. Francis of Assisi. So here FWIW is my take on that seminal moment- The town is in darkness, the church is disused and crumbling. A young man praying before a crucifix in the empty building receives the command; "Francis go, rebuild My Church". Gorgeous use of this beautiful model. The perspective is extremly impressive and the way you play with atmosphere, light and shadow creates a mystical mood. 5 stars for a fantastic work. :) Britta
