A few months ago, I read 'Labyrinth' by Kate Mosse, a historic novel that plays in Carcassonne at the time of Trencavel and Montfort. Very good book! I have wanted to visit Carcassonne ever since, and your capture just makes that stronger. In fact it's just like I imagined it ;o)). Beautiful shot!

Cracking composition, Rozanne. Not quite Stirling Castle, is it? I wish that I could travel to these places, but though retired seem to have very little time to myself these days. In addition my arthritis is now showing itself in my ribcage of all places. I just thought I had an infection in the lungs! Maybe I should move to warmer clims, perhaps sunny Espana, or a more autonomous Catalunya, if central and regional government ( and of course the politcians ) can agree on the present plans for that area.
