Description

Hey... more Arrow pics :) Can't help it the plane is just way to cool to be forgotten. Anyway, this is just another shot I took to show the over all size of her. The guy standin next to the nose gear is my brother (a little over six feet tall) and the two gentlemen on the left are Mr. Grey and my Father. Mr. Grey (blue sweater) Flew in the lanc that they are in the process of restoring. You can kind of make out the plexi nose bubble for the gunner. My dad and I realy enjoyed speaking with him. I will be uploading more of the photos of my trip to the Toronto Air Museum, so feel free to come back and perhapse leave a comment :)

is this the Canadian one that went Mach 2 in the 50's? they made a movie about it, if so. Ironic; from this angle it almost looks like an F4..;)

SOme of the testing for the Arrow took place at US Air Force sites, due to the need for ultra-high velocity wind-tunnels that Canada simply didn't have at the time. I'm pretty sure some US aeronautical engineers were taking some notes.
