so i have to do a self portrait serise for my photogaphy class... this is the first of like 4, so let me know how you like it

I like it too. Youre very beautiful...but i reckon thats not what you wanna hear..but instead you wanna know what we think of the technical aspects of your shot. #;o) I like the tight crop, but would like to see all of your lips in it. I love the subtle tones and the enhanced color of the heart. Maybe you could also boost the color of your eyes just to see what that looks like. All in all i would say that your professor will probably be quite pleased with your homework....especially considering youre wearing glasses and you manged to capture a great shot without any glare. Well done. #:o)

Very nice work. I agree about the lips bring it down a little and also the two different backgrounds on either side give it an off balance feel for me.

Wow - I'm no expert on photography, but I know what I like to see. I'd maybe include either a crop to just the eyes or show the whole face, but the subject is gorgeous anyway. Quite a confident gaze!

Yes indeed, this is very nice. While the tight focus and close cropping work very well, I agree with those who think you should include your whole mouth in the shot. Great work, and I also agree with the 'sexy-shy librarian' comment - get on with your lovely self, girl! ;^)

Beautiful shot with a very strong expression. The eyes hold very well. If I were going to change one thing, I'd go with a smaller earring. Maybe an oval stud.

i'd like to see more lips and less forehead and a tighter crop..... but with a model like that it's hard to get a bad shot

Well your beautiful and I love your beautiful blue eyes. The shot camera out really good too. Don't see the camera in your glasses or eyes either so you did good taking a picture of yourself.
