Sorry, it took me some time to upload the magazine cover that was my inspiration. See: "When we were kids." Note: This is not my artwork. I don't know who the original Artist is. Otherwise, I would give them the credit that was due.

Those were magic times, reading those pulp fantasies as a youth. :) Do try and find out who the origianl artist was.

Ken Fagg was doing work for IF at that time. I would say it also looks like his style but a lot of Science Fiction illustration looked like that so I can't say for sure.
