Another lunchtime render, and again something completely different.
I thought it was about time I tried my hand at a little fan art, and where better to start than the Marvel universe?

I'll have a second run at this one, now I've got a taste for it. There are two very important things I'll need to fix the second time around. 1. The Silver Surfer doesn't have ears (what was I thinking?). 2. I forgot his board! I really am loosing it!

I was wondering about the board too, but hey, we all make mistakes... yet I can see if you fix those two errors, that he truely will look like the silver surfer that I remember. I can't wait to see the fixed rendition. Goop

Well, at least it's YOUR surfer you can let him do whatever you want, even loose is board ;o) Cool work with those reduse colors!

Haha. Thanks SaintFox. I've done everything I wanted to do now with a re-worked image except I can't find a surfboard prop for Poser!

I never realized that Surfer had such a nice looking ass, LOL! I'm sorry, I couldn't hold that back, but I really do like the render. As far as the missing board, according to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, the Silver Surfer can fly without the surf board (although it's a bit more difficult & less graceful for him). I'm quoting this from memory, as I don't have access to that issue at this time, but hey, I hope it give your image a tad more validity. Whatever the case, I'll be looking foward to your next Surfer render.

This is a Great rendition! I love the colors you've chosen,it suits this character better than I would have though. For the time you put into this very well executed image Im looking forward to the re-do. Though this Image needs no re-do, Very Nice work!,.CHEERs.....
