Description

Taken on my new Canon 50mm f1.8 :) Post in Photoshop. Title comes from an ad campaign over here for milk. I was playing around today with my milk and food colouring drop shot idea - i do have one or two okay shots with the colour mixing, but this stood out from the crowd :) and if you were wondering - no, the background isnt postworked in, nor is it in black and white ;) Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Enjoy! Rich http://album.cogia.net

Awesome dropshot! Excellent clarity, and that black background sure make it look extra classy. I gotta try out milk some more i think. Been a while since i played with that substance, lol. Can i just suggest one thing? Get rid of that upper drop thats cut in half. Crop it off or paint over it. #;o)

hrm - that is really weird, i have to disagree with you three on the drop at the top - i think it adds to the composition, it follows the centre line and breaks up the black space... that is why i left it in.

Yeah I'd get rid of top one too :( do that and it will all be about emphasizing what you got at the bottom there... ;) but then again you are the artist and ya know what you want ;) Excellent work though buddy! Really cool! Thanks for sharing! Hope you are keeping well!

Hmmm I would get rid of the top drop too ... I find it a little distracting. If it had of been a full drop and had some black above it I think that would have been OK. Love the tones and perfection of that bottom drop. Not easy to get these drop shots :D

I think it is a great shot. Now that I see the critique of the top drop it makes me stare even that much more.Keep it. Though it would be cool if there was a third drop a bit lower too.
