Description

Well, Vue 6 is wonderful. It grew on my very quickly once I started to play with the new features. The eco-painting function makes ecosystems so much easier. You can spray paint plants and objects over the top of either everything or other objects. I shall write a quick tute on it and post it on my new site with the other tutes. The Vue 6 interface has changed a lot and you now have much easier finer control with the new gizmo tool. The clouds are great, as you probably have already seen in some of the other images being posted. The displacement texture mapping is awesome. So much potential. I have used it in a lot of the smaller rocks in this image, but not the big one. I shall post later some samples of that. In other images I take it to some extreems. Great to be back here. It has been quite a while since I have posted. I have a bunch of other Vue 6 images on my new site, but I shall slowly post them here anyway. Have a look in the Gallery section of my site art.sacada.net Thanks to Zippy for the Castle Model.

Great scene! The castle reminds me on one I visited a few weeks ago (this one without such spectacular rocks).

Nice image and Vue 6 does appear a lot more realistic looking. Was this done with the 64 bit version, I had some stability issues with 64 bit version of xStream - but only spent a couple of hours with it so far. Anyway keep them coming, I like to see more that can be done.
