Description
The dhavani or an half-saree is the traditional dress of an unmarried South Indian girl. It used to be commonly worn, but now it's a rare sight. Some retro girls are trying to bring it to fashion, bless them.
Jasmine flowers, gold jewellery, braids, go with it. Girls are allowed to wear dhavanis only after they come of age, and before marruage. Maybe it was an advertisement by parents looking for bridegrooms, in those days of male domination!
Technically:
Aiko rendered in Daz studio, nude, then brought over to Corel Photopaint for costume and hair. Had great fun decorating her!
