Just a cartoon, yet a keeper on nights like these when I recall Just what happened to my heart that Fall - The Fall of 00' when I was sure love was just an illusion, Just another Copperfield trick to tickle the senses of those that beleived in magic appearing airplanes I never did ya know never believed for a minute That Charlie would actually see the Great Pumpkin or David - could turn air into giant steel flying machines I was proven wrong I'm not to proud to admit I found my 'illusion' to be whole, and real and touchable Oh yes, a material element that I could touch Then I knew - through you and I wanted to say with my loudest voice "It's not hopeless Charlie Brown, the Great Pumpkin - it's around!"
