From innocence, the teens, man hood, the joy of parenthood, success, and to reap all of life's rewards with retiring and becoming a proud Grandfather; I feel truly blessed! Sure, there were many unwanted moments along the way, many of which, time has not erased. Some so devastating that I am amazed I have survived. But, only one wish I have made, and only one wish has been granted, "to be Happy"! Delusional and in denial, maybe; But, I'm glad I did not wish "to be Miserable"! :)

Someone told me I'm 57 (Now 62) and single. Really? I have always been a child at heart. So it is easy to see why I prefer Faeries! I did not need Peter Pan to convince me to "Never grow up!". Unfortunately, that's not the way our species. So on the exterior, I had to. But, deep within, my child remained. I prefer to be positive, supporting the soft, sweet, and gentle. I paint the world in that light. I'm not blind to the horrors of the world, and I stay sharp to the perils that confront us all. I simply do not allow that to alter how I view the world. I believe "Everything is beautiful", "Lead by example", "Love thy fellow Man", and possibly the greatest truth of all, "You can be what ever you desire, as long as you believe and pursue". I have always love the arts in all categories! I have palyed the guitar for over 45 years and have written over 100 songs. I am a minstrel and enjoy sharing my gift of song. I have dabbled in the visual arts since childhood. I won 2nd place in a High School Architectural State wide contest, and wanted to pursue that field, but somehow got sidetracked. The Sixties! During my middle thirties, I renewed my interests in the Arts and studied most of the Master Artists of oil painting, but struggled with its application. It was during my profession as Programmer Analyst, that I was exposed to CAD systems and its use in design, and found the Media right for me. I started with TrueSpace and CorelDraw starting in the early 90's, but it was not until I retired that I was able to give Art the attention it requires! I truly enjoy Poser and Vue and started to work with these tools in earnest in 2002. But I owe my biggest inspiration and push to Renderosity and all the Artists herein, regardless of their skill levels and talents. Dear Dennis, It's Sunday and things have finally slowed down a little for me. I've never made it farther than a robe and my bunny slippers!! I was slurping hot chocolate earlier but I might switch to some pretty decent Merlot!!! I was looking down through your gallery at all the stuff your've been doing! Holy Cats!! There are not many sections of Renderosity that you are not doing stuff in!! Eclectic is an understatement!!! I really like yout cute little animation guy. Downtown at the Reliant Building - which at one time was Houston Lighting and Power they show a picture of "Ready Kilowatt" which was a little guy like this with a light bulb head they used a long time ago in advertising. He was cute, too. I've never considered doing any animation posts because of the file size limitations. I'll bet you had to do a lot of tweaking to get it to fit within the 512 KB limit. I've got a few animations on the web site, but GIF's and QuickTime and they are huge! You realyl did a nice job on it. I also really like your "Mom" stuff, too!! Heck - I like everything!! haha how cute this is !!! i want to try annimation too one of these times !! just never seem to have the time lately lol.,...( dont laugh at me i was SURE a dim wit yesterday i threw a large rectagular pyrex lasanga dish right out of the oven into the sink with cold running water and the thing exploded LOL!!!!! - yep wont do that again ..~!!!!))))) so I say to my girls uh ,it was a science experianment HAHAHAH shhh ....and gosh i know better .)))).. hahah... thank you for the smile...!
