Description

MrsLubner's garden? No, not quite. This was taken of one of the lovely promenades early this year at the beautiful 160-acre Descanso Gardens, located in beautiful LaCanada/Flintridge, California. Unfortunately it was quite overcast over the Gardens that day, not partially sunny like it was when I left my residence 28 miles to the south. The cloud cover decided to clump up and remain situated over the Gardens for the whole day. Anyway, this is a very popular tourist nature spot, projecting tons of colorful serenity, and draws visitors from all over the world. While meandering aimlessly amongst the exotic flora, I took countless photos of flowers, plants and trees, four-fifths of which I don't know the name or classification of. For the sake of brightness and contrast, I had to resort to a wee bit of postwork on these pictures. Thanks for dropping by, and enjoy yourself, it's later than you think!
