I believe this is a moon flower instead of a morning glory . The one still twisted in the background looks very distintive of this flower . They also have smooth vines and stems unlike a morning glory which looks hairy . You can actually watch these flowers open after the sun goes down . Nice shot :)

A VERY nice image of what I also think is a "Moon Flower". The colors, composition, subject, lighting, pov and presentation are all top notch.

No matter what you call a flower, they are all soooo beautiful. I don't know too much about flowers, but if they smell good, I buy them. Love this pic. Huggs...Silkylady...

Ooops! You guys are right- I now see the purple seed pod! I also grew some "Pearly Gate" (white) morning glories, and I guess titled the post too quickly. Should have called it "Dreamy White Moonflower"! Thanks for all the comments and the keen eyes!!
