Description

This been on my hard drive for a coon age. I keep looking at it and say "I need to post this one day for I like it". Guess we all got those type of images we keep pasting over for other images that is newer. Like a person been on the job and a new person comes along and past you in pay raises and other things. You look at them and see nothing about them that you did not do. Who knows the reasons.[bosses kinfolks do that a lot] thanks for looking and comments

because they are back stabbing no accounts that want to get ahead at your expense. have the time they do not perform like they should and then blame the person working their butt off with out any thanks or pay raises.I thought at first this was some of your blacklite gone haywire. does make an excellent picture

Loved your comment and have to agree with Richard. Been there, know that. However, back to the photo. Not so bad, like the colors and the glass works well with the bricks. Pretty good job. HUGS!!!

I really like the color of the glass! It's a great contrast between the glass, the brick, the rock and the paints! Great shot Jock! (:

Tons of various shades of aquamarine in this capture, Jocko, and a great closeup of the mess. I remember lots of times when new people were hired with a higher pay rate than myself. But who said life was fair?

Dear Jock, Visiting your gallery is always such a treat! It's like going to one of those little out of the way stores where you are not really sure what you are going to find, but yet know there will be some real treasures inside. I like your tale of the alligator's hiss in the swamp - and I'll REALLY glad I wasn't there. Your "Nun, Boyfriend, and Baby" were also really cute. And I like d the pciture of the V-8 short block, too. You've got such a great eye for finding things that other pass over. The picture of the old bridge and you analogy to life was touching. And your picture here of the broken car glass also sets the mind wandering. What was it like in it's prime - when it had just rolled off the showroom floor with it's proud new owner behind the wheel? Times change - and times change everything - cars and us, too!!! Great work!! Love, Meredith

I began to notice stained glass windows in 1978 which were hunks of glass set in brown epoxy. I learned they began in a Congregational church in Pennsylvannia. Way later, I learned that Rev. Dale was excommunicated in England centuries ago. Sand and rock.

Great mix of wonderfully textured items. An elegiac and beautiful abstract of ordinarily mundane objects. Very, very well done!

Outstanding clear details, textures, and color in this closeup photo, Jocko. Your image got me thinking: "How do we mend things like this, rather than just replace them or ignore them?" I have no answers, but asking the question is a start . . . Nice capture!
