Description

I'm sitting around Tearing out my hair Cause the want is deep But the words aren't there. Like climbing in my car without any keys, The tingling of my nose Without the sneeze. My plan is all set And I'm rearing to go, I know what I want but the tale won't show. Damn but the pressure Is getting me down Let me grab my bag And head into town. Shopping is my muse and so are my friends Let me waste time then Hope this writers block ends Now that I'm back I sit down to write I pull out my story When its peaceful at night But my eyes are weary And they need to close Will I ever finish? We'll all see how it goes. ********************* Yep, you guessed it. Writers block in the first week of NaNoWriMo... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Have a hug all!

I must admit, my inspiration and thus creativeness also suffers a blow lately. Is it the same thing? Great clarity of thoughts I can associate with. Good luck Sue, I hope you wade through!

Well that should fetch 'em. Poor you. Don't force it and it'll come. Excuse my ignorance but what on earth does "the first week of NaNoWriMo" mean? Whatever, I enjoyed the read! Mike

Your verse comes alive! a very true, yet fun-loving and witty piece of work! though quite ironic is the title of this. LOL. I find that sometimes the best work is produced when we experience this kind of a "blockage"..... it seems to be like the rainbow after the storm..... I don't think creativity comes about any other way, since when we burn out, we know we have to get back to our calling, or jump back on the bandwagon and keep "producing" our best, and every attempt brings us closer and closer to perfection..... or closer and closer to the psychiatric ward! :) I hope this temporary dis-"ease" fades quickly for you, and you're back up and running! :) Tofi

LoL @ TP. It fits so well! @tofi - A very colourful rainbow as the words tumble forth with the gushing waterfall. Thank you for the comment! @ Meico - NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writers Month 50000 words in 30 days during November only. It means you have to churn out about 1700 words per day to succesfully be a winner in the competition. It's merely a personal challenge to all who write. Yes, I hit the target. Hugs all!
