Description

The finished version of the first Logo Draft for the EMP PRO team. Go here for site [ http://www.empirearcadia.com/ ] Everything was made in Blender 3D and exported to Bryce5 for textures and Rendering. At least until I learn how to do it in Blender. I'm SUPER new to modeling and have no idea how to make anything from scratch. Everything you see was either made from a Mesh Circle, Mesh Cube, or a Mesh Sphere. All a pain in the neck to work with. And the fact that I'm only working with 2% of free space on my PC, doesn't help a bit. Anyway, the members of the team that have seen this render love it. As soon as they all agree to it, I'll make a 2D version and Animate this one. Unfortaintly, I'll have to Bryce, but oh well. ========================= Copyright 2006 Richard T. White Jr. and EMP PRO NO STEALING!! ******************************** I do need to point out that a couple of Rederosity members have given me Blender suggestions and advice for texturing and such in Blender. I just haven't had the time to read up or practice their greatful help.

the tools for working from scratch in blender are supprisingly easy. add a cube, make sure your in edit mode (tab if your not) click a to select everything. press delete. delete all verticies. use "ctrl" + "left click" to add a new vertex. use ctrl + left click to add another vertex conected to that first virtex. everytime you press cntrl+leftclick it will add a vertex connected to the previous one. to make a face select 4 virtecies (make sure they are all connected in a square shape) and click "F" on the keyboard. to connect two verticies together click "F" on the keyboard. to extrude click E.
