in no way is this on the level of the Terragen artists posting here, but I decided to post. I dedicate this to nattarious (Joe) as he was the element behind me starting again with Terragen.
I need to learn so many things and only beginning to use plugins. maybe someone can suggest where I can find grass plugins

There are no grass plugins... you have to use surface map to get some convincing grass layers. First thing to do is to check Terrasource (http://terrasource.net/) which list all tutorials. A great surface map tutorial is here : http://www.martin-brunker.de/tutorials/eng_surface_tutorial2.pdf Good first try.
