Description

Inspired by 'The Lord of the Rings', which I am currently re-reading (though not meant to be representative of any part of the story!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Composed and rendered in Daz Studio, with some blending in Paint Shop Pro. Can't remember much about the components, since this is quite an old one, but they were all from Daz. Lighting by me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hope you like it! Thanks for looking (better in full size view)

...last famous words before Rhofog the orc and his band found them both deeply asleep and captured them for the birthday party of the Witch-King (known to the records as Lilybum of Angmar, notorius undead trickster known for his cowardice, so that it's been said that "no mortal man will ever be able to kill him... he run too fast") - never trust a horse for guard duty! O.O I think it's a lovely fantasy scene, and manages to capture pretty well the "enchanted" feeling of the more peaceful parts of the LotR (excluding the first few chapters about hobbits, which reminds more of "fair of the belch and ham"...) - one thing tho... seen as the light is being cast from the elf staff, there should be shadows on the ground behind his foots, which would also help "ground" the figure - i.e. always turn on shadows - they just add too much to an image to go without, even if they take more time! ;) Just a suggestion of course, and anyway it's a good composition - nifty work!!
