BIO
I've been married 17 happy years. I've actually been married 23 yrs, but about 17 have really been happy. =^}
I have twin girls just out of high school.
During the day, I am a Certified Engineer specializing in new construction for my local State Highway Dept. In the evenings I do some web design for the locals : http://www.gratrgraphics.com
I started messing with Terragen, but saw fractals posted and fell in love. Picked up Apophysis and became an immediate addict. The images that I render are a little eclectic, but hey...I like them. Hope y'all do also.
I have also written a tutorial for Apophysis:
Creating and Saving Custom Gradient Packs in Apophysis
You can find it under the Fractal section of the tutorial link at the top of the page or you can view it at it's alternate site:

Does it have to have meaning to have impact? or beauty? I don't think so. I think we bring our own meanings to an image. And this one is very cool. It's life, obviously being imbued in something! I like the copper colors of the things .. and the stainless steel looking structural elements ..

Whatever it is..or isn't..it's awesome. I like the cool combo of designs and the overall perspective. Superb contrast between the creature and the geometric design and backing. Terrific colors and textures. Wonderfully weird and excellent stuff!

Looks to me like this will end up as a fine Lobster Newburg when the mechanical processing is finished by human hands....

Intriguing Image. Organic shapes contrast with the strait lines of the back ground.

It certainly makes for a very interesting and contrasting combination! I love those copper colours in the forefront!
