Description

This is the main character of my book, Divette. I've been wanting to do a serious portrait render of her for a long time, and continuing with the "Portraits" series I'm doing... I couldn't think of a better time! Okay, so you all know by now that this isn't entirely Poser, there was tons of postwork done on this piece. Yes. I've gone to the dark side and now I'm doing postwork, but only minor stuff... It's rather fun. It's like...painting, but less frustrating o.O;; I would have done her eyes in colour, like I do with most of my black and whites, but her eyes are so dark (in the story and the render) that there really wasn't a point in doing that. Not to mention I thought she looked better without it. *nod* Anyway. OH! Quick note, in case someone asks: the dark smudge on her cheek is supposed to be there. It's a scar. *laughs* Thanks for viewing, comments welcome as always.

I really love this portrait of her - she looks mysterious and stunning. The black and white really compliment her facial features - I really love the lock of her hair falling over her forehead. Her eyes are dark and beautiful. Yeah don't you see I really love this picture? lol Cheers, Tina

Very Nice! I like the eyes dark, good choice! Also, love the nails and the slightly glossy lips. You are excellent at balancing color with great effect. Nice job!
