Born 1941. Yeah, I know, that's old. Live in Rome. Was raised in Buenos Aires, and still feel that as home. Work as a consultant in GIS (Geographical Information Systems). My hobby, or maybe my real profession, is South American history. My wife is a very well known (in her specialized world ) Roman archeologist. Our son is 30 years old, but hasn't decided to grow up yet. Deals in politics. We travel, at least an important travel each year.

I like your shot (except the black part). The blue of the ice is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

Awesome shot once again. Its so hard to belive its taken in Chile. Being semi-eskimoe i always assume were the only ones that suffer from arctic climate, LOL. If i may suggest one thing...it would be to resize it. I think its way too big now. At least for us who views photos full-size as our default setting. I have to scroll back and forth and up and down to view it, and that sort of takes away from the smack-in-the-face-effect you could get from viewing an image all at once. Another factor worthy to consider is the quality...if you post smaller photos you would get a gallery consisting of higher quality shots. And it will especially look alot better to those who view photos compressed seeing how their browsers wont have to compress it so much. Just something to ponder about. Have a great day. #:o)

A sweeping scene that must be viewed at full size! Thank you for sharing the point of origin...a majestic, forbidding place.

Amazing image from the Blue ice which is old a sign even here of the evidence of global warming
