OUTSTANDING!!!! Going black&white with this one was a stroke of genious!!! It almost looks more like lava than sand now. Excellent job. And i love that you shot it vertically. #:o)

isnt that something to just stare at :) Great shot and good use of B&W to bring out the contrasts (i bet it was a pretty boring shot in colour eh? ;) )

Thank you for your comment. For your information, this color picture is absolutely no postwork. The sand was black. In Iceland (near a river).
