Description

I have been working on this for about 2 1/2 weeks. Trying to get the lighting right and I added a layer of glass over the floor, lowered the Specularity and Reflection of the glass to make it appear to be a varnished and waxed floor, I think that part was successful. Added a couple of Vases at either side of the fireplace, just looked better that way. I used my 2 new networked 3.2 Dual Cores to render this Via Bryce Lightning, WOW, what a difference in time. Original File Size: 4000x3000 DPI: 500 HDRI Quality: 50 Intensity: 25 HDRI Effect: 100 Render Time: 7 hours 57 minutes 34 seconds On my normal computer this would have taken about a week, LOL!!! Wow mark this is fantastic! Two things that need a little tweaking. The reflection for the big vase on the left looks a little long and needs to be toned down and the rug looks like it is a magic carpet floating above the floor. Great job and congrats on the new computer!

Extremely detailed. I think viewing the foot stool's legs reveal the carpet is place correctly. Since you are lucky to have super comp power, what would it look like if you put a couple negative lights around, say one above and below the bookcase tucked behind the columns and one off-screen near the desk to warm the fireplace a little more? I love this render. It shows mucho work.
