Description
This aircraft may look broken but it is not. Designed during WW2 the wings fold to save space when stored on aircraft carriers. Its full name is the Chance Vought Corsair. The air battle in the Pacific was its main operational arena. Surplus aircraft served with several Central and South American air arms as late as the 1960s and these account for most of the flying examples today.

Those wading birds that run to and fro on the edge of the beach are "stamping out smog." We had a few Goodyears in us is all.

It's a late model with a four bladed prop can't determine the exact model. The earlier ones had a 2,000 HP engine with a 16'three bladed prop. Did it have chin or cheek inlets? I have an F4U-5 on my site.
