Description

I do'nt often post any WIP's....but I thought this would make a good sort of "Before & After" shot (the After shot will be posted to this gallery tomorrow)....For this render I placed 2 "para-bombs" in the distance(the idea being to postwork these into a castle/city of some sort)then rendered...on viewing the image it seemed to work fine...but it needs more..^_^...I want to break up the straight ridge in the foreground and that little island looks very interesting... Thanks for viewing.

Jeff so theres NO Post work in this image?? The birds are meshes? Howdyou get the bridge effect....another mesh? Love the gradients in that water but I dont know if its the displacements or the Compression thats creating noise on the water?! I really like the displacements youve used on the foreground. Will be good to undestand how much you post in :-) Good idea with the posts & thx :-))

Very nice terrain and mats. I think the wave displacements looks a bit edgy, though ((may be some sharpness post effect ?)

Yeah...Sorry Woz...I should have explained things better....I did postwork the birds & buildings a little to see the effect....After planning things further I then added "Boulders" & "trees" and rendered the image again...it is the 2nd image (more heavily postworked) that I'll post tomorrow.....so this should be more of a "before & after" concept/idea than a "before & after" image/shot...^_^...

an excellent image already!! Ethesis is right -- bigger - possibly zoom into the background castles and the island -- i dont visit mojo galleries much but this is one of the best for a while -- dont rush the next one -- this could look awesome soon!!
